Earlier this summer, I made the choice to live in my car in order to save money on rent and experience minimalism on a greater extent. I packed up my car with things that could help me maintain proper cleanliness and what I used on a daily basis, including my work uniform, workout clothes, towels, zero-waste items, etc., then left the rest in storage.
Living in my car was one of the greatest things I could’ve ever done for myself – it posed many different challenges to me, but with every obstacle, I found how simple it was to acquire what I needed and go on with my day in with a positive attitude.
One of the biggest challenges was figuring out a feasible and affordable way to eat healthy while living in my car. I couldn’t always go out to a vegan restaurant to eat, so I had to get creative.
